Trust Without Reservation!

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation. (Isa. 12:2)

Christianity is trusting Christ, not self. Most people are trying to reach God, find God, and please God through their own efforts. But perfect  trust is resting all of one's weight on something else, not on self. It's like resting on crutches to hold you up when you twist an ankle. You lean on them as your strength. Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us to "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

In other words, strength comes from proper perspective. Elton Trueblood put it this way, "Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservation." Strength comes from choosing to fully trust, pray, and praise. Our circumstances may not change, but in the process we change.

Perfect Trust

Let's be honest. Trust can be a very difficult thing to find with anyone when we are betrayed by those whom we have loved and looked up to. To be able to trust without reservation requires faith and extraordinary courage. It requires our willingness to be vulnerable and the list goes on and on and on.

Even though trusting ourselves and others can have its own unique set of challenges. Finding trust in Christ takes it another notch higher. It takes it another notch higher from the perspective that our trust in Christ requires in having faith in someone that we have never seen or hang out with. There are lots of religions out there that have a different view point of who Jesus is. It is because of those religions that contribute (in part) to the lack of faith and confusion in regards to establishing trust without reservations in Someone we have no physical experiences with.

Jesus is unique from the perspective that He has done what no other man will ever do for you. He gave His life so that we have a chance to experience redemption and salvation through Him. It is in Jesus and Jesus alone in whom we should place our devoted trust with out reservations unto as well as the extremely close circle of friends and family that we hold ourselves accountable to.

My dear friends, are you ready (and willing) to give Jesus your trust without reservations? I am. When it is all said and done, placing our trust in Jesus will one day reap rewards here on earth, and ultimately in heaven. Jesus has promised us in the Bible that He has placed reserved for us in His kingdom. Jesus has also promised us that we will be victorious. Jesus loves us enough to give His own life as ransom so we are given an opportunity to experience eternal life. He is the way. He is the truth. He is the life. No one is more worthy of our trust than Jesus. No one.

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
