The Difference Makes The Difference!

By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another. (Jn. 13:35)

If our message is a mirror image of the message of the world, the world yawns and goes on its way, saying, "What else is new? I've heard all that since I was born." But if the Christian lifestyle and motivation and answers are different, the world cannot help but sit up and take notice, thinking:

How is it that I cannot conquer this habit but he has?
Why is their love so deep and lasting and ours so shallow and fickle?
How is it that she can forgive and never hold a grudge, but I can't get over a wrong? Talk about kindness and courtesy! These people exude those things, I wonder why.
I've never seen such integrity. The guy wouldn't think of taking a dime that isn't his. Do you get the message? It is the difference that makes the difference.

Simple Faith

What kind of a difference have you made in the lives around you? The answer to that question is largely determined by the way others have made a difference in your life. Right? All of us are influenced by someone. Who we allow to influence our lives will determine what kind of a difference we make in the lives of others.

As Christians, we are to be influenced by Jesus. His influence upon our lives will determine what kind of a difference we make in the lives of others. The kind of difference I'm pointing at is that of the eternal variety. In our daily interactions, we must have an outlook that has eternal difference in mind. Eternity makes the difference! Eternity will conclude in of two places. Heaven or hell.

Those who are not in Christ have a decision to make. You, my dear friend, will be the difference-maker. You will be the person that will provide the difference that makes the difference. We have been called to carry out the Gospel (Good News) to the four corners of the world. That Good News is what will make the eternal difference in the lives of those you interact with on a daily basis. I want to encourage you to be an effective witness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and become the difference-maker of the eternal variety.

Are you willing to be the difference-maker that makes the difference in the lives of those you love and care about?

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
