Stop Running Scared!

But I trust in the LORD. I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities. (Ps. 31:6-7)

You may be going through a trial so overwhelming that it's borderline unbearable. You want to see the end of the tunnel. Which is only natural, because once we see that little speck of light, we feel we can make it through to the finish. But God's tunnels are often twisting, too complex and dark to see the light for many days. In such settings He says, "In that dark, twisting, seemingly endless period of time, trust Me. Stop running scared! Stop fearing!"

Perfect Trust

What exactly are you scared of? Why are so many people running scared these days? Let's face it friends, we live in very scary times. With every passing day, week, month, and year the world we live in is growing more and more hostile.

With that said, we have lots of people that have lost their sense of peace and live fearful for their lives every single day. People have lost their faith and trust in God in being able to provide for their needs and provide them some type of security. Unfortunately, many people have given more attention to their circumstances than in God Himself.

My dear friends, God is more than enough. We no longer need to run scared anymore. We no longer need to run away from God. We no longer need to give more importance to the circumstances we see, but give more importance to standing firm in faith and hope that our circumstances will get better one day and have the faith that God will see us through those difficult circumstances and do the miraculous in our lives.

Having said that, are you still going to keep running scared? Have you lost sight of the purpose and plan that God has for your life? Get before God and ask Him for forgiveness. Ask Him to restore your faith and trust in Him. Ask Him to empower you to be the person that God wants you to be. Ask Him to help you to stop running scared and stand firm with with courage like David when he faced Goliath. Be encouraged!

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
