Hearts To Trust, Minds To Rest!

Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never permit the righteous to be moved. (Ps. 55:22)

God has entrusted to us a great deal. He knows that we can do all things by His grace, so He's trusting in us to trust in Him. Yet He knows our fears as well, otherwise He wouldn't assure us so often of His purposes and His presence.

We feel hurt and alone---God assures us He cares.
We feel angry and resentful---God provides wisdom and strength.
We feel ashamed---God grants forgiveness and comfort.
We feel anxious---God promises to supply all our needs.

May He give us ears to hear, hearts to trust, and minds to rest in Him. Our God is uniquely and ultimately trustworthy!

Perfect Trust

Let's face it. We are surrounded by imperfect people. We are surrounded by people that have all sorts of vices in their own lives. Those people that surround us have also been wounded themselves in some way, shape, or form.

As a result of the heartache and pain that they have experienced in their lives, it would only be a matter of time before we experience the same things. Our hearts will be broken. Our minds will be betrayed. My dear friends, there is only one solution to all the heartache and betrayal of our minds. His name is Jesus.

We must surrender our hearts and minds to Him and Him alone. We must ask God to fill our hearts and minds with godly virtue. We must surrender our hearts in trust to Him. We must allow God to penetrate our minds so we can rest peacefully in His Word. We must soak ourselves in the healing virtue of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in order for our hearts to trust and our minds to rest. I strongly encourage you to read the whole chapter of Psalms 4 before you sleep and to memorize it so that you can incorporate that chapter into your daily prayer life. That chapter will bring healing to your heart and rest to your mind as you surrender the end of your day to God in prayer.

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless your heart and mind in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
