The Will To Do God's Will!

Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. (Matt. 6:9)

By merely reviewing the first few lines of the Lord's Prayer, we gain a renewed respect . . . a healthy and wholesome sense of reverence for our Almighty God and Father. Rather than causing us to run from Him and hide in fear, I find that such an awesome respect makes me want  to come close to Him, to wait quietly for Him to work. And so I urge you to slow your pace, to approach His "hallowed name" thoughtfully. Take time! Give Him the respect He deserves. Wait on God. In return, He will give you a clearer vision. Furthermore, He will soften your will and make you want to know and do His will.

Simple Faith

Following God's will is a must if we are to get anywhere in life. If we are to experience blessings from Him, we must follow His will. Are you willing to follow God's will? Are you willing to make God's will the central focus of your life?

Following God's will allows us to be able to see things coming through God's eyes. God encompasses every single area of our lives. He has the greatest vantage point. Before we can do His will, we must first know His will for our lives. It is God's will we need to follow, not our own.

When faced with difficult and challenging circumstances, submitting to God's will for our lives will place everything that is happening in our lives in the proper perspective. If we attempted to try to resolve life's circumstances in our own strength, we run an extremely high risk of failure. Let's be honest with ourselves. Is that a risk really worth taking? Is it really worth the risk of not following God's will? God knows what is best for our lives and definitely has our best interests in mind. My dear friend, our lives are so much better in His hands than in our own. Would you agree?

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
