Sails Set Toward Joy!

A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance. (Prov. 15:13)

I have discovered that a joyful countenance has nothing to do with one's age or one's occupation (or lack of it) or one's geography or education or marital status or good looks or circumstances. . . .
Joy is a choice. It is a matter of attitude that stems from one's confidence in God---that He is at work, that He is in full control, that He is in the midst of whatever has happened, is happening, and will happen. Either we fix our minds on that and determine to laugh again, or we wail and whine our way through life, complaining that we never got a fair shake. We are the ones who consciously determine which way we shall go. . . .

Regardless how severely the winds of adversity may blow, we set our sails toward joy.

Laugh Again

I could not agree more with Charles Swindoll, "Joy is a choice."

Let's be honest, in order for us to experience joy in all of its fullness, we must first be content with where God has placed us. Contentment and joy go hand-in-hand. They both come from within. They both come from the hand (and heart) of God. When we are at peace with God, regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in, joy will always be present in our lives.

To experience joy in all of its fullness is a beautiful feeling and reality. Joy doesn't depend on external circumstances to be right in order to flourish, unlike happiness. We can be in the worse trial of our lives and still be able to experience God's joy in ways that are both miraculous and mysterious. My dear friend, are you ready to set your sails toward joy? Are you ready to experience the fullness of God's joy in your life and share that same joy with the people that you love and have placed around you? I really hope and pray that this is the case because joy is contagious. Joy is a wonderful way to share the love of Christ with those around you. Wow, praise God!

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God bless you and keep you as you experience His joy in a miraculous way! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
