Give All You Have!

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Prov. 9:10)

If you're the kind of Christian who really wants the whole purpose of God, then you dare not leave out kingdom commitment. That means your motives must be investigated. For example, every time you make plans to acquire a sizable possession---a car, an expensive boat, a house, and such like---you must deal with it before God and ask: Is this His will? Would this honor Him? Would this glorify Him?

Am I suggesting that you take a vow of poverty? No, not that. My message is not that you go hungry and give up all nice things. I just say you give up control of them. Give all you have to the Lord God and trust Him to give back all that you need.

Living Above the Level of Mediocrity

What do you have to offer to that person in need? All of us have something to offer our fellow man/neighbor. There are all kinds of needs: Spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, even financial or material.

What are we rendering to God Himself? Are we rendering every single aspect of our lives to Him? Are we giving Him everything that is pleasing Him and bringing glory to His name? Before we can provide for the needs of others around us, we must first render to God the "first fruits". The "first fruits" are the very best we have to offer. The "first fruits" reveal that we give God first place in our lives. Upon giving God the very best we have to offer Him, we can give the very best we have to offer to those around us.

My dear friends, don't just give all that you have; give the very best of what you have in time, talent, skills, and resources. The easiest way to find God's purpose for your life is to give all you have in Jesus' precious name. Everything that you do and give has to be done and given in a selfless way. When it is all said and done, not only will those people around us be abundantly blessed, but we will ultimately be blessed as well.

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
