A Light For The Path!

Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119:105)

A healthy fear of God will do much to deter us from sin. When we have a proper fear of the living Lord, we live a cleaner life. Any born-again person who sins willfully has momentarily blocked out his fear of God. You and I can do that. When we actively engage in sin, we consciously put aside what we know to be the truth about God. We suppress the knowledge of Him in our hearts and minds. We lie to ourselves by saying, " We'll get by. God won't mind so much." . . .

I must say that this wholesome fear of the Almighty has turned up missing in our era. And when it is absent, we think we may do as we please. You can live as you please if you know you're not being seen and you won't get caught. But if, down deep inside, you know there is a living and holy God who will not let you get away with sin, you will avoid sin at all costs.

Moses: A Man of Selfless Dedication

My dear friends, have you found yourself in a very dark place lately? I have found myself in several dark places during my Christian walk. The degree of darkness varied from time to time. There were moments when the darkness around me became overbearing and would have been completely lost without Jesus in my life. There have also been moments when the darkness around me would be somewhat like the dawn light of the day.

The miraculous part is that the further I read God's Word and pray before my Heavenly Father, my path becomes clearer. My confidence in Him becomes stronger. My faith is further reinforced. My energy levels continue to increase incrementally. My passion for Him and everything about Him grows as well. In the same way light brings life into a plant, God's light on our paths will have amazing effects upon us and those around us.

When God's light shines upon your path, only good things will happen. My dear friend, is God's light shining upon your path? If so, wonderful. Always keep your eyes on Him because He will lead you and guide you in the way you should go. If you don't, don't hesitate to ask God to shed His light upon your path. In a nutshell, your path is your the situation you currently find yourself in. Without God's light upon your path (situation), your path (situation) will remain in total darkness and you will be blind to the course (situation) that you find yourself in. Only Jesus can shed light on our paths. Only Jesus can reveal the obstacles that can and will obstruct any progress off fulfilling our God-given roles while on earth and ultimately our eternal destination, heaven. Be encouraged my friend! God is on your side!

Thank you so much for reading this my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
