Only Character Endures!

For I have walked in my integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.(Psalm 26:1)

Nothing speaks louder or more powerfully than a life of integrity. Absolutely nothing! Nothing stands the test
like solid character. You can handle the blast like a steer in a blizzard. The ice may form on your horns, but you keep standing against the wind and the howling, raging storm because Christ is at work in your spirit. Character will always win the day. As Horace Greeley wrote: "Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, riches take wing, and only character endures."

There is no more eloquent and effective defense than a life lived continually and consistently in integrity. It possesses invincible power to silence your slanderers.

Hope Again

Character refinement is often an ongoing process that lasts during our entire lifetimes. In my personal experience, my character has been refined during times of great distress and trials. I'm confident in the Lord that the vast majority of my readers can relate to this type of character reformation.

God is the Potter and we are the clay. Our character is continuously being molded and reshaped on a daily basis. There are moments throughout our lives that will challenge our character. How we respond to those moments will determine the type of character that results from those experiences.

There is no doubt that the greater our adversity in life is that our character goes from common to extraordinary. From human to godly. As Christians, our character has to be Christ-like. To be Christ-like in character means that we have to be rooted in humility. It starts there. If we are to experience "radical" transformation in our lives, we must be humble in spirit. Remaining humble in spite of whatever life throws at us is the key ingredient to achieving and living in godly character.

My dear friends, do you long to have godly character in YOUR life? If so, ask God to humble you and erase any pride that can get in the way of your achieving and living out your life with godly character. Remember friends, ONLY CHARACTER ENDURES

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
