The Soul Belongs To God!

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation. (Psalm 35:9).

Nothing physical touches the soul. Nothing external satisfies our deepest inner needs. Remember that! The soul belongs to God. He alone can satisfy us in that realm.

The soul possess an inescapable God-shaped vacuum. And not until He invades and fills it can we be at peace within---which is another way of saying "If God isn't in first place, you can't handle success." If God fills your soul, if God fills your mind, if God satisfies your spirit, there is no problem whatsoever with prosperity. You've got it all put together. Your priorities will be right, and you will know how to handle your life so you can impact the maximum number of people. If He prospers you, if He entrusts you with material success and you continue walking with Him, God can use you mightily in His plan. Furthermore, if you lose it all, He can give you what it takes to handle the loss and start all over again.

Living on the Ragged Edge

Our souls do belong to God.

The irony of this post is that all souls, righteous and unrighteous belong to God in regards that God is the One who largely determines where the soul will go when the day of judgment comes upon everyone. For those of us who chose to repent and directed our faith in Christ, our souls will be heaven-bound and bypass hell altogether. The souls of the unrighteous will be judged by God Himself and directed to hell.

Yes friends, there is an afterlife and the destination of our afterlife is largely determined by the way we live our lives today. Are we living for the kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness? If you were to die right now, will your souls be heaven-bound or hell-bound? Our lives in regards to the eternal destination of our souls can be pretty scary if your not certain. That is why people like me, online or offline, "shout" from the rooftops to encourage all of our loved ones and the lost in general to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Otherwise, the consequences of not accepting Him in a repentant manner with our faith placed firmly in Him will result in separation from God and eternally condemned to hell. Think long and hard before you answer the following question:

Where would you prefer that your soul goes?

Thank you very much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!! . . . . :-).
