Hold Onto God's Hand!

Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. (Psalm 105:4)

Discovering and embracing God's will leads us to make major adjustments. And that requires us to release and risk---releasing the familiar and risking whatever the future may bring. That's the bottom
line of fleshing out God's will. . . .

We are only finite human beings. We can only see the present and the past. The future is a little frightening to us. So we need to hold onto God's hand and trust Him to calm our fears. And at those times when we're stubborn and resisting and God shakes us by the shoulders to get our attention, we're reminded that we don't call our own shots, that God has a plan for us, mysterious though it may seem, and we want to be in the center of it.

All the risks notwithstanding, that's still the safest place on earth to be.

The Mystery of God's Will

God's hand provides us with the protection and guidance necessary to make it through the wild winds of life. Let's admit it, life can get really rough from time to time. There will probably be moments when we may be able to use godly discernment and be able to navigate through whatever situation we are confronted with. Evidently, discernment is a gift that comes from the hand of God.

Having God's hand upon our lives as Christians is the ultimate relief we need. I have literally witnessed God's hand upon my life in so many different situations and still see His active hand in my life at the writing of this draft. God's hand has guided me and protected me from harm numerous times. God has the perfect vantage point in which He is able to see things that we cannot see. He's able to see what will come our way long before it can be seen with our own eyes. With that said, entrusting our lives in God's hand is a matter of trust and having the faith that His sovereignty will fulfill what has been promised to us through His Word.

My dear friends, let's hold onto God's hand like we have never held onto it before. We are living in dangerous times. With terrorism abounding like never before and disease outbreaks happening throughout the world, we can no longer exclusively depend on our governments and community leaders to provide us with the direction and protection to navigate through these very dark times.

Thank you so much for reading this far my friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
