Discover The Depths Of God!

Can you find out the limits of the Almighty? It is as high as heaven; what can you do? (Job 11:7-8)

God's ways are not discovered through the normal, humanistic methods of research.

As important and intriguing as divine depths might be, they defy discovery by the natural means of our minds. God reserves these things for those whose hearts are completely His. . . for those who take the time to wait before Him. Only in that way can there be intimacy with the Almighty.

Tragically, precious little in this hurried and hassled age promotes such intimacy. We have become a body of people who look more like a herd of cattle in a stampede than a flock of God beside green pastures and still waters. Our forefathers knew, it seems, how to commune with the Almighty . . . but do we? We must learn anew to think deeply, to worship meaningfully, to meditate unhurriedly.

Intimacy with the Almighty

Attempting to discover how deep God is even more difficult (and trivial) than attempting to climb Mount Everest (or K2) or dive into the depths of the Mariana Trench. Just imagine the difficulty of accomplishing those feats. In spite of the inherent dangers and difficulties of those feats, man has eventually been able to conquer them. In accomplishing those feats, many men (and women) have died in attempting to achieve those feats. Sacrifices have been made in the name of human triumph.

All of us in some way, shape, or form have attempted to achieve some type of conquest. In my personal experience, the feat I have just recently explored and am attempting to "conquer" is to become a skilled blogger whos writing will captivate the worldwide audience with my passion for Christian living and living life to the fullest with faith, hope, and love. The funniest part about this "conquest" is that there are so many others out there that have gone before me and have conquered this "mountain".

It is only when we attempt to climb higher and higher in our sphere of influence that we will be able to discover the depths of God's love, character, and compassion among other attributes. The depths of God is gradually revealed to us as we grow and mature in life through the trials and challenges we face in life. Just like those mountain climbers, it is only in the struggle and the preparation of those struggles that we begin to have a different outlook on life. Upon reaching the summit of the mountain we call "life", we can experience the depth of God's creation and be in awe of how meticulous He is with every single one of us.

My dear friends, let us continue to reach high in our worship and adoration of our Heavenly Father to further discover the depths of His love, His grace, His mercy, His longsuffering, and the list goes on and on. . . . :-). Get ready, it's time for us to discover the mysterious and the miraculous of God's heart for ALL of His children and all of humanity!

Thank you so much for reading this far friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . :-).
