God Shows Himself Strong!

But let your heart keep my commandments. For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to you. (Prov. 3:1-2)

If you focus on the past, it won't be long before complaints start oozing from your lips. You will remember a long-ago time, bathed in a hazy, rosy glow of memory, when something was easier and more comfortable than it is today. And as you compare then and now, I guarantee it, you will grumble.

I do this; so do you. But it's so foolish! We look back nostalgically on what was once a pleasant situation, at which time (even then!) we were looking back longingly on a more pleasant earlier time. That's dumb, isn't? You may be grumbling right now about your current situation. But chances are good that two years from now you'll be looking back on this moment and saying, "Oh for the good old days! Boy, it was great back then, wasn't it?" . . .

Stop! We live in the light of some dreamy past leisure or pleasure, when in actuality God continues to show Himself strong all the way.

Moses: A Man of Selfless Dedication

Have you ever felt at the end of your wits with the chaos that we constantly hear and see on tv, in the internet, in our newspapers, and any other means of media? There is no doubt that there will be moments when we become too preoccupied with the grind of our daily living. The struggles of life can become an overwhelming force when we choose to go about our lives in our own strength with very little to no dependence on God Himself.

Only God can show Himself strong in our lives. Only God can restore things back to the way He originally planned it. Only God can heal marriages, restore our health, provide us with the basic necessities to be able to live forward. Only God can give us the strength, grace, and humility to stay on the straight and narrow regardless of how impossible life becomes to us.

I often say that God is indeed Faithful and True. I say this very often because I have seen and experienced God's strength and power in, through, and around my life and in the lives of my family and friends. My dear friends, God will show Himself strong in YOUR life. All you need to do is to remain patient and trust Him that He will fulfill the promises that He has for you and your loved ones in His Word.

Be encouraged friends! God will always be on your side and He will never leave you nor forsake you. No matter how your life looks like right now, God is steadfastly working on your behalf in the midst of your weaknesses so that you can stand confidently and strong in Him and confront anything that the world, the enemy, and even those around you throw your way.

Thank you so much for reading this far friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
