Day by Day with Charles Swindoll

Leave it to God.

It's a whole lot easier said than done. Right? Our tendency to wanting to do things our way. It is either my way or the highway. Man, we can be such selfish creatures sometimes. Our human nature is the complete opposite of God's nature. While God loves to take His time and operate in His own will, we have a microwave mentality. That explains the advent of fast food restaurants.

The Bible is riddled with stories of how people had to lose everything before God decided to intervene in that person's life. The losses of life doesn't just pertain to our heroes of the faith, that also applies to us today. That is why we must leave whatever it is we are facing to God. All of us are confronting some type of struggle right now as we speak. At this present moment, we have one of two choices to make. We could either leave it to God or we can attempt to try to handle the struggle on our own. My dear friends, my hope and prayer is that we will surrender ourselves to God and let God deal with all of our cares.

In order for us to truly leave our cares to God, we must first acknowledge that we have a desperate need for God's intervention in our daily lives. We must get before God's presence with a humble spirit. In essence, we must come to an end of ourselves. Once we have come to an end of ourselves, we will be in prime position to see God move on our behalf in ways that we would never imagine. Have you come to an end of yourself? Have you left whatever concerns you to God's care? If you have answered yes to these questions, then you are in prime position to see a miracle in your life. If not, then I highly recommend that you take a closer look at your relationship with God. One thing is for certain is that God will never force Himself on you and your situation if your don't want Him involved in any way. Food for thought!

Thank you so much for reading this far friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
