A Cluttered, Complicated World!

Lo, this only have I found, that God has made man upright; but they have sought out many devices. (Eccl. 7:29)

Everything around us works against reordering and simplifying our lives. Everything! Ours is a cluttered, complicated world. God did not create it that way. Depraved, restless humanity has made it that way!

Advertisements have one major goal: to make us discontented, woefully dissatisfied with who we are and what we have. Why? So we will acquire what they offer. And acquire we do! The watchword of our consumptive society is very loud and assertive---more! Enough is never enough. . . .

Not only do we acquire . . . we keep, we accumulate. Furthermore, we don't simply compete . . . we are driven to win, always win. And not only do we want more, we must spend more time maintaining those things. Staying ahead of that maddening pace leaves us strained, fretful, breathless.

Surely, God is not the author of such confusion.

Intimacy with the Almighty

With over 7 billion people on this planet and growing continuously, this world has become a cluttered, and even more complicated world. The world outside of Christ is already bad enough as it is. Our way of life as Christians has also become more cluttered with more focus on the activities we do than on the actual worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Things within the Christian community have also become more complicated with various churches who claim to be Christian warming up to those who live lifestyles that are an abomination before the Lord.

For those of you who have been reading my posts for some time should already know that I'm not the type to sugar-coat any ungodly compromises within our churches. For those of you who have just followed me more recently, will gradually get used to the hard stand I usually take when confronted with ungodly compromises in our churches and lives in general. Today's Christian is exposed to all sorts of unhealthy philosophies. Everything ranging from the humanistic to new age has infiltrated our church and our lives. Many Christians still think that it is ok to listen to certain songs from certain Christian music artists that have knowingly or unknowingly incorporated the occult into their music. The same also applies to the books we read. What is really lacking in today's Christian is discernment. Discernment to know the subtleties of evil. My dear friends, let us gather together in prayer wherever we are in asking God to help to recognize the subtleties of evil in everything we do.  As a Christian blogger, I'm responsible before the Lord to convey a message that will challenge you, encourage you, and hold you (and myself) accountable to one another so that we do not stray from the Lord and further divide the body of Christ when it's already fragmented as it is. Are you with me friend?

Thank you so much for reading this far friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!!. . . . :-).
