Confident Contentment!

Teach me to do your will; for you are my God: your Spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. (Psalms 143:10)

When Christ becomes our central focus---our reason for existence---contentment replaces our anxiety as well as our fears and insecurities. This cannot help but impact three of the most prevalent joy stealers in all of life.
  1. He broadens the dimensions of our circumstances. This gives us new confidence. . . .
  2. He delivers us from preoccupation with others. This causes our contentment level to rise. . . .
  3. He calms our fears regarding ourselves and our future. This provides a burst of fresh hope on a daily basis.
Laugh Again

In this crazed world we live in today, how do we find confidence and much less contentment? For some of us, we can find a very easy answer. For others, it may not be so easy. The environment we live in and the circumstances that surround us will largely determine how we can answer that question.

In this day and age, we don't have to live in an impoverished nation to experience lack of confidence and/or discontentment. Regardless of where we live at, all of us have the ability to sabotage out thoughts and way of living out our lives. Not only are we subject to these things because of the weakness of our flesh, but we also have to contend with the world we live in as well as the enemy of our souls. It can definitely make for a very complicated life for all of us.

Until. . . .

God intervenes.

It is only in God Himself that we can find REAL confident contentment! Are my present circumstances ideal? No. It is only when I am confident in God's character, abilities, and resources that I will experience contentment in spite of whatever I go through. I honestly believe that it will be difficult for most Christians to experience confident contentment until we have learned to embrace God and His promises for us when we have lost something and/or someone in our lives. Remember this friends. . .

Our confidence in God is what will bring supernatural contentment!

My dear friends, those words will provide comfort when we have really gotten to know God and not simply know about Him. Take heart! God has already taken care of you. All you need to do is to trust Him.

Thank you so much for reading this far friends! May God continue to bless you and keep you as you experience confident contentment in Him! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!...:-)
