It Is Finished!

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Rom. 3:23-24)

Stop and think: Upon believing in Jesus Christ's substitutionary death and bodily resurrection, the once-lost sinner is instantly, unconditionally, and permanently "declared 100% righteous." Anything less and we are not righteous. . . . we're almost righteous.

If we are declared 99.9% righteous, some verses of the Bible would have to be rewritten. Like Isaiah 1:18, which might then read: "Come now, and let us reason together", says the Lord, "though your sins are as scarlet, they will be light pink."

Nonsense! The promise of sins forgiven is all or nothing. Eighty percent won't cut it. . . .

When our Lord said "It is finished," He meant "finished."

The Finishing Touch

My dear friends..."It is finished!"

What kind of struggle are you going through?

Are you going through a health crisis? "It is finished"

Are you going through a financial crisis? "It is finished"

Are you having marital problems? "It is finished"

Facing problems at work? "It is finished"

This is only a small sample of numerous other questions that we often surrender to God in prayer and share with those that are closest to us. No matter what is we are currently faced with at the present moment, Jesus has already redeemed those areas of our lives. All that is needed is the faith of a mustard seed. Jesus has already decreed those words "It is finished" because He knew very well that the price He payed on the cross would have redemptive value of eternal worth. Any debts that we can accrue has already been payed off at the foot of the cross. There is nothing new to this amazing revelation. What is new is the constant reminder of the reality that Jesus has already paid the price of all of humanity's sins and struggles. What a mighty God we serve!

Thank you so much for reading this far friends! My hope and prayer is that God will empower you to say the words "It is finished" in the spirit of boldness, truth, and clarity! May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name friends! JESUS LOVES YOU AND SO DO I!!!...:-)
