10,000 Reasons!

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. (Deut. 6:5)

Hmmmm! There would probably be 10,000 reasons to comply or not to comply with the above verse! Personally, 10,000 reasons would never be enough to actually LOVE HIM with all my heart, all my soul, and all my might. My soul awaits the day when I am finally going to be able to rest in God's presence for ALL OF ETERNITY! What a comforting thought!

Unfortunately, there are others that could find 10,000 reasons not to be in love with the Creator of  the universe and our beloved planet. Regardless of how we may feel about Him, God has way more than 10,000 reasons to love ALL OF US with every fiber of His being.

With this small thought in mind, do you have 10,000 reasons to love God in the way He has prescribed for us in Deuteronomy 6:5? I really hope so friends!!!!!....:-).

With that said, and without further delay, I want to bring to all of you 10,000 Reasons by Matt Redman. May God continue to bless you and keep you in Jesus' mighty name friends!

Here's the lyrics below...enjoy and be blessed!...:-)

10,000 REASONS BY MATT REDMAN

Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name

The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes

Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name

You're rich in love, and You're slow to anger
Your name is great, and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find

Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name

And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore

Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name

Jesus, I'll worship Your holy name
Lord, I'll worship Your holy name

Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
Jesus, I'll worship Your holy name
I'll worship Your holy name

Your Love!

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;
Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
(Psalms 103:2-4,KJ2)

When I look back at my life, I see Jesus' love all over it. It never seizes to amaze me how a Man that I have never met in person could make such a significant impact on my life in such a profound manner. His love for us is no fluke! Let me repeat that again!

HIS LOVE FOR US IS NO FLUKE!

Why would I say that? To answer that question, there are no simple answers. The "simplest" answer that can be given is to simply look at yourself in the mirror and know that YOU are loved because you still breathe to see the next day. Look all around you and you will see snippets of His love all around you. Do you really want to know what epitomizes His love for you? Here's the MOST POPULAR verse in the entire Bible!

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16,KJ2)

There you have it friends! HIS LOVE for you is so big that He gave His life for you to be able to experience His love on a daily basis no matter what you go through in life.

With that said, and without further delay, I want to bring to you Your Love by Brandon Heath. May God continue to bless you and keep you all my friends! JESUS LOVES YOU and so do I!!!...:-).

Here's the lyrics below...enjoy and be blessed!...:-D

YOUR LOVE BY BRANDON HEATH

I felt it first when I was younger,
A strange connection to the light,
I tried to satisfy the hunger;
I never got it right.
I never got it right.

So I climbed a mountain and l built an altar,
Looked out as far as I could see,
And everyday I'm getting older,
I'm running outta dreams.
I'm running outta dreams.

But Your love!
Your love.
The only the thing that matters is Your love!
Your love is all I have to give.
Your love is enough to light up the darkness!
It's Your love!
Your love.
All I ever needed is Your love...

You know the effort I have given,
And you know exactly what it cost.
And though my innocence was taken...
Not everything is lost.
Not everything is lost!

But Your love!
Your love.
The only the thing that matters is Your love!
Your love is all I have to give.
Your love is enough to light up the darkness!
It's Your love!
Your love.
All I ever needed is Your love...

You're the hope in the morning.
You're the light when the night is falling.
You're the song when my heart is singing.
It's Your love!

You're the eyes to the blind man.
You're the feet to the lame men walking.
You're the sound of the people singing.
It's Your love!

But Your love!
Your love.
The only the thing that matters is Your love!
Your love is all I have to give.
Your love is enough to light up the darkness!
It's Your love!
Your love.
All I ever needed is Your love...

But Your love!
(Your love is all that I needed.)
The only the thing that matters is Your love!
Your love is all I have to give.
Your love is enough to light up the darkness!
(Your love is all that I needed.)
It's Your love!
Your love.
It's all I ever needed...

Courageous!

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you. (Deut. 31:6)

Notice how the words "COURAGE" and "FEAR" fall together in the same verse?  There is no coincidence whatsoever that those two words go hand in hand in this verse. God encourages us to FEAR NOT so that we will neither fear nor be afraid of either the unknown or the known. I never did law enforcement work or military duty growing up, but I used to be a security guard for a casino. Granted, the degree of of courage and fear confronted by a security guard will NEVER compare to that of what a police officer, firefighter, or military personnel will confront on a day to day basis, but nevertheless, there will ALWAYS be a moment when we will be confronted with a fearful situation that will call out every single ounce of courage required to not only CONFRONT, but come out VICTORIOUS.

Here's one last verse to provide YOU another dose of COURAGE!...:-)

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 15:13)

JOY...PEACE...HOPE. Collectively, through the power of the Holy Spirit, will be able to confront fear with incredible CONFIDENCE AND COURAGE because God has already enabled every single one of YOU!

With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to all of you Courageous by Casting Crowns! May God continue to bless you and keep you my friends! Jesus loves you and so do I!!!...:-). Here's the lyrics below....ENJOY!!!!

COURAGEOUS BY CASTING CROWNS

Songwriters: WEST, MATTHEW / HALL, MARK

We were made to be courageous
We were made to lead the way
We could be the generation
That finally breaks the chains

We were made to be courageous
We were made to be courageous

We were warriors on the front lines
Standing, unafraid
But now we're watchers on the sidelines
While our families slip away

Where are you, men of courage?
You were made for so much more
Let the pounding of our hearts cry
We will serve the lord

We were made to be courageous
And we're taking back the fight
We were made to be courageous
And it starts with us tonight

The only way we'll ever stand
Is on our knees with lifted hands
Make us courageous
Lord, make us courageous

This is our resolution
Our answer to the call
We will love our wives and children
We refuse to let them fall

We will reignite the passion
That we buried deep inside
May the watchers become warriors
Let the men of god arise

We were made to be courageous
And we're taking back the fight
We were made to be courageous
And it starts with us tonight

The only way we'll ever stand
Is on our knees, with lifted hands
Make us courageous
Lord, make us courageous

Seek justice
Love mercy
Walk humbly with your god

Seek justice. love mercy
Walk humbly with your god

In the war of the mind I will make my stand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)
In the battle of the heart and the battle of the hand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)

In the war of the mind I will make my stand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)
In the battle of the heart and the battle of the hand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)

We were made to be courageous
And we're taking back the fight
We were made to be courageous
And it starts with us tonight

The only way we'll ever stand
Is on our knees, with lifted hands
Make us courageous
Lord, make us courageous

We were made to be courageous
In the war of the mind I will make my stand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)

Lord, make us courageous
In the war of the mind I will make my stand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)

We were made to be courageous
In the war of the mind I will make my stand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)

Lord, make us courageous
In the war of the mind I will make my stand (seek justice. love mercy. walk humbly with your god)

How Could It Be!

Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened this way: When his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit.
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, decided to put her away privately.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take unto you Mary your wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. (Matt.1:18-25)

WOW! Now this is what I call a predicament of BIBLICAL proportions! I must admit, given the sensitive nature of finding out that my wife is pregnant by someone else other than myself, I would have privately given her a divorce notice myself. Especially given the fact that I don't know all the details just like what Joseph went through with Mary. Just to point out, when I say "my wife", I'm only speaking hypothetically because I'm not married...YET!...:-).

The birth of Jesus Christ is the MOST MIRACULOUS event that has happened in ALL of human history given the magnitude of the situation. The human factor of the precious couple involved given the fact that the society they live in at the time frowns upon matrimonial infidelity. Just to clear the air, infidelity of ANY KIND is outright wrong because at its very root, it's deceptive. In a nutshell, I simply feel sorry for both Joseph and Mary because of the complicated nature of this MIRACLE. It's a miracle because it involves a Jewish baby who happens to be 100% GOD...100% MAN

With that said, and without further delay, I want to bring to ALL OF YOU Joseph's Song by Michael Card! May God continue to bless you and keep you throughout the rest of this year and the next in Jesus' mighty name my friends! Jesus loves you and so do I!!!...:-). Last, but not least, MERRY CHRISTMAS! JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!!!...:-D. Here's the lyrics below...God bless you!

JOSEPH'S SONG BY MICHAEL CARD

Chorus 1
How could it be this baby in my arms
Sleeping now, so peacefully
The Son of God, the angel said
How could it be
Lord I know He's not my own
Not of my flesh, not of my bone
Still Father let this baby be
The son of my love
Chorus 2
Father show me where I fit into this plan of yours
How can a man be father to the Son of God
Lord for all my life I've been a simple carpenter
How can I raise a king, How can I raise a king
He looks so small, His face and hands so fair
And when He cries the sun just seems to disappear
But when He laughs it shines again
How could it be
Chorus 2
Chorus 1

Emmanuel!

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Is. 7:14)

This particular post almost serves as a continuation of the most recent post I made about Jesus Messiah. Being that I have always been into Christmas and the rest of the holiday season, the most appropriate thing that I can do is is simply CELEBRATE JESUS! Celebrating Jesus SHOULD be a year-round event. Unfortunately, MOST people only celebrate Jesus during special occasions with family and friends and eventually disappear into the dark afterwards.

Nevertheless, this particular time of the year just has a mysterious way of reminding us everything that Jesus has done for us and how much it means to us as followers of Jesus Christ to not only follow Him, but be totally in love with Him as well.

LET'S CELEBRATE JESUS TOGETHER FRIENDS!!!!....:-D

With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to all of you Emmanuel-Hallowed Manger Ground by Chris Tomlin. May God continue to bless you and keep you all my amazing friends! Jesus loves you and so do I!!!...:-). Here's the lyrics below...ENJOY!!!

EMMANUEL-HALLOWED MANGER GROUND BY CHRIS TOMLIN

What hope we hold this starlit night
A King is born in Bethlehem
Our journey long, we seek the light
That leads to the hallowed manger ground

What fear we felt in the silent age
Four hundred years can He be found
But broken by a baby's cry
Rejoice in the hallowed manger ground

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
God incarnate here to dwell
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Praise His name Emmanuel

The son of God, here, born to bleed
A crown of thorns would pierce His brow
And we beheld this offering
Exalted now the King of kings
Praise God for the hallowed manger ground

Emmanuel, Emmanuel
God incarnate here to dwell
Emmanuel, Emmanuel
Praise His name Emmanuel
Praise His name Emmanuel

Oh, praise His name Emmanuel

Jesus Messiah!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Is.9:6,KJ2)

JESUS! No other person has created the kind of impact in my life than Him. No other person has selflessly and sacrificially given of him or her self to me in the way Jesus has. No other person will love me the way Jesus has, is, and always will. This truly amazing song has brought me to tears like very few other songs ever have. Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords! I could probably spend the next 40 posts on the topic of Jesus alone! An encounter with Jesus will TOTALLY transform YOUR in ways that you can ever imagine!

The majority of the people who check out this blog site are saved and sanctified by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus).  I'm confident in the Lord that the beautiful name of Jesus Christ is spreading throughout the world through various means, this humble blog site included. What an honor and privilege to be given the resources that God has given us as well as His grace enabling us to be able to share the love, hope, and grace of OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! For those of us who view this blog site and any other Christ-centered blog site or website, Jesus is waiting patiently with lots of love to receive you as His own. I'm gonna post a prayer of salvation as well as the lyrics to the song above in this particular because I'm confident in the Lord that there are non-believers who need Jesus' special touch! With that said, and without any further delay, here's the prayer of salvation and the lyrics to Jesus Messiah by Chris Tomlin. Jesus loves YOU and so do I friends! God bless you!

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Prayer of Salvation - Our First Real Conversation With God
The "prayer of salvation" is the most important prayer we'll ever pray. When we're ready to become a Christian, we're ready to have our first real conversation with God, and these are its components:

  • We acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God; that He came to earth as a man in order to live the sinless life that we cannot live; that He died in our place, so that we would not have to pay the penalty we deserve.
  • We confess our past life of sin -- living for ourselves and not obeying God.
  • We admit we are ready to trust Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord.
  • We ask Jesus to come into our heart, take up residence there, and begin living through us.
Prayer of Salvation - It Begins With Faith in God
When we pray the prayer of salvation, we're letting God know we believe His Word is true. By the faith He has given us, we choose to believe in Him. The Bible tells us that "without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Hebrews 11:6)

So, when we pray, asking God for the gift of salvation, we're exercising our free will to acknowledge that we believe in Him. That demonstration of faith pleases God, because we have freely chosen to know Him.

Prayer of Salvation - Confessing Our Sin
When we pray the prayer of salvation, we're admitting that we've sinned. As the Bible says of everyone, save Christ alone: "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

To sin is simply to fall short of the mark, as an arrow that does not quite hit the bull's-eye. The glory of God that we fall short of is found only in Jesus Christ: "For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)

The prayer of salvation, then, recognizes that Jesus Christ is the only human who ever lived without sin. "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Prayer of Salvation - Professing Faith in Christ as Savior and Lord
With Christ as our standard of perfection, we're now acknowledging faith in Him as God, agreeing with the Apostle John that: "In the beginning was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." (John 1:1-3)

Because God could only accept a perfect, sinless sacrifice, and because He knew that we could not possibly accomplish that, He sent His Son to die for us and pay the eternal price. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.." (John 3:16)

Prayer of Salvation - Say It & Mean It Now!
Do you agree with everything you have read so far? If you do, don't wait a moment longer to start your new life in Jesus Christ. Remember, this prayer is not a magical formula. You are simply expressing your heart to God. Pray this with us:

"Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
Prayer of Salvation - I've Prayed It; Now What?
If you've prayed this prayer of salvation with true conviction and heart, you are now a follower of Jesus. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something - a warm glow, a tingle, or some other mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or you may not. If you have prayed the prayer of salvation and meant it, you are now a follower of Jesus. The Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure! "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Welcome to the family of God! We encourage you now to find a local church where you can be baptized and grow in the knowledge of God through His Word, the Bible.

Lord, I Need You!

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (Heb. 13:8, KJ2)

How many times have YOU heard this verse? I personally have heard this verse countless times throughout the years that I have been going to church and during my walk since accepting Jesus into my life. I for one have given mental ascent to this portion of scripture until a crisis surfaced in my life and has RADICALLY changed the way I see Jesus. Jesus has taught me that it's very possible to be able to live a certain way that is pleasing to God while at the same time honoring Him and giving Him ALL the glory. You're probably thinking, in what way can we live that is pleasing to God while promoting God in the way I described above? Living in a RIGHTEOUS way is the key here! Am I implying that we live in a self-righteous way here? ABSOLUTELY NOT! There's a totally different righteousness that has to prevail, and that is righteousness that is centered in Christ! Here's the verse!

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you. (Hos. 10:12)

The above verse makes it ABUNDANTLY CLEAR to us that there is a far higher standard of righteousness that has to be addressed in our lives! Without Jesus in our lives, we will be in a world of trouble and end up living a form of righteousness that is not centered in Christ, but more centered in ourselves. Is that any way you want to live YOUR life? I hope and pray for your sake and everyone else's sake that that is not the case. With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to all of you Lord I Need You by Chris Tomlin.

May God continue to bless you and keep you all in Jesus' mighty name friends! Jesus loves you and so do I!!!...:-)

Here's the lyrics below...ENJOY AND BE BLESSED MY AWESOME FRIENDS!!!...:-)

LORD I NEED YOU BY CHRIS TOMLIN

Verse 1:
Lord I come, I confess
Bowing here I find my rest
Without You I fall apart
You're the one that guides my heart

Chorus:
Lord, I need You, oh I need You
Every hour I need You
My one defense, my righteousness
Oh God, how I need You

Verse 2:
Where sin runs deep, Your grace is more
Where grace is found is where You are
And where You are Lord I am free
Holiness is Christ in me
Yes where You are Lord I am free
Holiness is Christ in me

Bridge:
So teach my song to rise to You
When temptation comes my way
And when I cannot stand I'll fall on You
Jesus You're my hope and stay
And when I cannot stand I'll fall on You
Jesus You're my hope and stay

White Flag!

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7,KJ2)

When we wave the white flag or throw in the proverbial white towel, what is the one word that comes to mind? Yes, YOU heard it first, the word is SURRENDER! Surrender is one of those double-edged words that is greatly scrutinized, and in some instances, frowned upon. Surrender is frowned upon among those that don't like to be in compliance with those in authority. Those people who have a difficult time surrendering to authority have a very strong spirit of pride, arrogance, and rebellion. In most cases, these character traits usually reflect those of the non-believers. From a non-believers standpoint, surrendering to those things, people, and agendas that are not of God would also have a negative backlash on themselves and the people around them.

As believers, surrender has a completely different outlook. The outlook is that of humility and a deeply-rooted respect for God and your fellow man. In the above verse we are commanded (not suggested) to submit ourselves to God. In effect, we will be able to resist the devil and he will end up fleeing from us. Remember how I pointed out HUMILITY earlier in this paragraph? Here's the second, and last verse for this post:

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. (James 4:10,KJ2)

In life, we can ALL use a piece of "humble pie"

As we lift up our hands to either wave the white flag or throw in the towel and find surrender in the process, we not only give God, but ourselves the opportunity to get grounded in humility. As long as we surrender ourselves to GOD and His SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY, we will be better prepared to not only surrender, but experience God and the victory He has already prepared for us! With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to you White Flag by Chris Tomlin. May God continue to bless you and keep you all in Jesus' mighty name! Jesus loves you and so do I!!!....:-). Here's the lyrics....ENJOY AND BE BLESSED FRIENDS!!!...:-D

Whom Shall I Fear!

Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. (Psalms 23:4,AKJV)

Whom shall I fear? That's the million dollar question for every single one of us. According to the above verse, one of the things that we are discouraged from fearing is evil. This particular portion of scripture is one of the most encouraging and comforting verses in the whole Bible. Encouraging and comforting because God is the One providing the encouragement and comfort especially during these last days in which there is so much uncertainty. Many of us Christians have come to awareness that tomorrow is NEVER promised to anyone, that includes me. This next verse should definitely encourage YOU as God enables you by His awesome grace to be able to live out life as BOLDLY as possible while maintaining the righteousness of Christ!

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (Ps. 34:4, AKJV)

The above verse were the words of David, the apple of God's eye, when he pretended to be insane in front of Abimelech. I can assure you that David, like you and I, was fearful of the uncertainty of life and possibly buried under the concern and stress of his situation. I often thank God for ALL the biblical heroes because they have exhibited the human tendencies such as fear, love, joy, courage, and compassion in the face of overwhelming circumstances. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, all point to Jesus Christ, the SUPREME EXAMPLE of EVERYTHING HUMAN.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalms 27:1,AKJV)

With the ENTIRE Bible pointing everything to Jesus, the above verse sums it up very well...:-)

NO REASON TO FEAR...JESUS IS HERE!!!

Now that's what I call a word of encouragement! With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to ALL of my wonderful friends out there Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies) by Chris Tomlin. May God continue to bless you and keep you all! Jesus loves you and so do I!!! Here's the lyrics below...ENJOY AND BE BLESSED!!!...:-D

I Will Follow!

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him. (Lk. 5:11)

I will be the first to admit! FOLLOWING GOD is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made in my entire life. Following God requires a strong spirit of humility and a RADICAL desire to trust, understand, love, and fear (respect) Him. The flesh has a natural tendency to go against "following God" because "the flesh" operates and totally depends on its senses (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, and feet) to feel something or someone tangible. Following God goes against the grain when it comes to being able to trust Him in a tangible way. HOW DO WE FOLLOW AN INVISIBLE GOD?  Here's a verse for you!

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) (2 Corinthians 5:7,AKJV)

FAITH is the ingredient required to walk in obedience with God. Where does God stand in regards to faith? Here's one last verse for you...promise!....:-D

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Heb. 11:6)

There you have it friends! I might as well throw myself into the mix when it comes to knowing that faith is required to be able to follow God. It is also worth pointing out that the faith that is required to FOLLOW GOD is not BLIND FAITH ! God has given each and every single one of us a big book called the BIBLE ! The most amazing book ever written has been provided to us from God Himself through certain individuals that God has chosen specifically to get the word out to know how to follow Him and follow Him FAITHFULLY! I chose to follow Jesus and I trust that YOU, the reader have too!....:-). And if by any chance you haven't, don't despair my awesome friend. I will be praying that God will direct you to someone to begin the process of following God!

With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to ALL OF YOU I Will Follow by Chris Tomlin. May God continue to bless you and keep you as you watch and sing along with the video. Never forget friends! Jesus loves you and so do I!!! Here's the lyrics....ENJOY AND BE BLESSED!!!....:-)

I WILL FOLLOW BY CHRIS TOMLIN

Songwriters: INGRAM, JASON / MORGAN, RUBEN / TOMLIN, CHRIS

Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow...

All your ways are good
All your ways are sure
I will trust in you alone
Higher than my side
High above my life
I will trust in you alone

Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow you
Who you love, I'll love
How you serve I'll serve
If this life I lose, I will follow you
I will follow you

Light unto the world
Light unto my life
I will live for you alone
You're the one I seek
Knowing I will find
All I need in you alone, in you alone

In you there's life everlasting
In you there's freedom for my soul
In you there joy, unending joy
And I will follow

Forgiveness!

"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins." (Col. 1:14)

Forgiveness. That is one of the words that are in very short supply these days. Forgiveness at its very root is both HIGH RISK/HIGH REWARD. It's HIGH RISK because there is always the possibility that our efforts to forgive will be rejected. As a result, it will result in further alienation from the people we love and are supposed to be safe with. It's HIGH REWARD because the opposite effect will take place. Instead of alienation, the spirit of unity will be fostered. The opportunity to experience God as we forgive one another will not only enhance the experience of knowing what love in action is like, but the outcome will bring spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical wholeness.

In my personal life, I have noticed how God would often move on my behalf in all four of the above mentioned areas when I learned how to give and receive forgiveness. As the reality of forgiveness has grabbed ahold of my life and be able to embrace and celebrate it, I slowly, but surely begin to take notice of how God is able to restore the many different areas of my life that have been affected in some way, shape, or form. ALL OF US have a story to tell about how we have been wronged by others and how we have often wrong the people that we love and cherish. Ask God today and everyday to provide YOU with the courage, grace, and wisdom to know how to give and receive forgiveness. God will be MORE THAN HAPPY to answer that prayer on your behalf and on the behalf of others that you know are in desperate need of forgiveness. Here's another scripture verse that will provide further clarification on where God stands in regards to FORGIVENESS.

But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared. (Psalms 130:4)

"Feared" in this context is just another way of saying respected.

With that said, and without any further delay, I want to bring to you Forgiveness by Matthew West. May God continue to bless you and keep you friends in Jesus' mighty name! Jesus loves you and so do I!!!...:-) Here's the lyrics....ENJOY!!!

P.S.: The above scripture verses were taken from the AMERICAN KING JAMES VERSION. Feel free to go to www.biblios.com to gain a greater appreciation for the said version.

FORGIVENESS BY MATTHEW WEST

It's the hardest thing to give away
And the last thing on your mind today
It always goes to those that don't deserve

It's the opposite of how you feel
When the pain they caused is just too real
It takes everything you have to say the word...

Forgiveness
Forgiveness

It flies in the face of all your pride
It moves away the mad inside
It's always anger's own worst enemy
Even when the jury and the judge
Say you gotta right to hold a grudge
It's the whisper in your ear saying 'set it free'

Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness

Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness

It'll clear the bitterness away
It can even set a prisoner free
There is no end to what its power can do
So let it go and be amazed
By what you see through eyes of grace
The prisoner that it really frees is you

Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness

Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness

I want to finally set it free
So show me how to see what Your mercy sees
Help me now to give what You gave to me
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness
